Taking advantage of a hot Sunday evening, Sharlette visited a sunflower patch. The sunset was beautiful amidst all of those sunflowers!

Austin's Spring Semester in Spain
"Me encantaba la ciudad antigua de Segovia!" that is, I loved the ancient city of Segovia! I mean, how could you not with an aqueduct built by the Romans spanning the main street of the city? It is amazing that some of their "recent buildings" are contemporary with the Pilgrims landing at Plymouth! That being said, this beautiful city still felt welcoming to a bunch of Americans with a lot more to learn about the world, showcasing their past accomplishments while blending with the modern era. And although the presence of fast food chains did not allow a full disconnection from our world, their coexistence with the restaurants and inns of Segovia presented a city that balanced the world around it with itself.
